Based on a report from sources within the Islamic regime, the clerical rulers of Iran are preparing a push to stop the gradual decomposition of the Islamic regime.
The long term push, already underway, is taking place in several phases, which include the use of the regime's judicial system, and also a series of violent actions to set the grounds for the justification of an aggressive military intervention.
The final aim is the total purge of the regime and its institutions of all elements not adhering to the leader's guidance, or judged as a threat to the survival of the regime.
The report states that this putsh has been planned by Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsandjani, head of the Expediency Council, and several other clerics such as Ahmad Janati, head of the Guardian Council, and has been approved by Ali Khamenei, the regime's leader.
A Cultural and Supervisionnal Revolution will take place within the Iranian universities, and dissident groups will be dismantled. Dissident students, scholars, and some members of the pro-regime Student groups such as "OCU", will join the imprisoned students, and some of them will be condemned to long prison terms.
Most Pro-reform activists and journalists will be arrested and will join their already-imprisoned colleagues. The remaining pro-reform press will be muzzled, and privileges accorded to foreign reporters in Iran will be terminated. Only few pro-regime media organizations such as Ressalat, Keyhan and "Jomhoori-e Eslami - whose name will be changed to "hokoomat-e Eslami" [Islamic Government] - will remain, under the supervision of a board overseen by Ali Khamenei.
Most heads and officers of different military divisions, including the "Guardians of Revolution", judged as having become sided with the people, are to be removed, moved to other posts, or arranged to have fatal "accidents".
A series of violent actions and murders will take place by the secure elements of the regime, paving the way for an official crackdown on the Majles MPs judged to be no longer secure.
The judiciary, headed by Iraqi-born Shahroodi, will arrest members of the Pro-reform movement and the regime's opponents, based on charges such as "Conspiracy against the Islamic state" and "Collaboration with Zionism".
The affairs of the country will be handled by Ahmad Janati, heading a "Council of Islamic State" under the supervision of the leader.
