TEHRAN, Jan 6 (AFP) - Four more defendants confessed in court Saturday to involvement in the 1998 murders of Iranian dissidents which were blamed on "rogue" intelligence agents, the state IRNA news agency said.

Meanwhile the fifth defendant on the stand in Saturday's hearing pleaded 'not guilty', it said.

Thirteen of the 18 men being tried behind closed doors by the Tehran military court have now confessed to some role in the killings, while two have pleaded 'not guilty'. The trial is to resume Sunday.
