Tehran, Feb 7, IRNA -- Iran's Supreme Court overturned the ruling issued for the the five convicts in the attempted assassination of the leading pro-reform journalist Saeed Hajjarian, a press report said Wednesday. The daily Hambastegi said the Supreme Court has overturned the verdicts issued by the Bench 32 of Tehran's Revolutionary Court, and forwarded the case to the Bench 20 of the same court. Three suspects are in custody while two others are out on bail. Hajjarian, a close ally of President Mohammad Khatami, remains partially paralyzed since a bullet wound pierced his cheek in March.
