Iranian workers stage first post-electoral Protest
SMCCDI (Information Committee)
Hundreds of Iranian workers protested, today, in front of the Islamic Parliament for requesting the closure of the famous "Bonyad Mostaz-afan" (Foundation of Desherited).
The action started by the rally of the "Chit e Rey" workers who were protesting against their conditions and the non-payment of their remunerations by the Bonyad and soon, hundreds of protesters joined the workers in sign of support.
The Islamic regime's Anti-Riot units came into action by contenting to close the Majles perimeters and staying at large. No clashes have been reported despite the content of some slogans, such as, : "Down with Bonyad!" or " Down with Mafia!".
The workers have promised to come back if their conditions are not fulfilled and if a Public committee is not formed to investigate the Bonyad's accounts.
"Chit e Rey" factory, nationalized after the 1979 revolution, is one of the commercial entities placed under the management of the Bonyad which is the Economic pillar of the Islamic republic regime.
No real big transaction can take place in Iran, by regular individuals, unless obtaining the approval of the Bonyad by paying "commission" to its managers who are known as the "Iranian Economical Mafia".
Most successful commercial and industrial entities of the pre-revolutionary era, such as "Chit e Rey", have been brought to a state of bankruptcy following the ill-policies of its un-qualified mangers and huge frauds made by those close to the Islamic republic rulers.
All times are PT (US)
